The Japanese-made Si 3000 was introduced in 1980. It is the last desperate attempt by the Alpa management to save the firm.

A Chinon CE-4 with K-bayonet-mount in disguise, it has nothing in common with the Swiss-made Alpa cameras and none of the Swiss Alpa lenses and accessories could be used on this body.
